Ensenada, the
international port city, is a tranquil city with a cruise ship port.
Ensenada is the perfect spot to enjoy all kinds of water sports,
fishing, scuba diving, and much more. Visit Todos Santos Island and
Todos Santos Bay which are teeming with wildlife.
Ensenada with its solid tourist infrastructure
has prestigious hotels, gourmet restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses,
tennis clubs, and a well equipped fleet of fishing boats. The city is
also the host to several important events along the year like the Baja
1000, the Baja 500, the New Port-Ensenada Regatta, and the
Rosarito-Ensenada bike race. In the winter, the bay provides a truly
amazing spectacle, the gray whale watching.
Points of interest include: La Bufadora, the
remarkable sea geyser that spouts sea water more than 60 feet into the
air. Santos Tomas Winery, Baja California’s oldest winery which
gives tours all week except Sunday. El Mirador (The View Site), also
known as Black Market where you can see the entire bay including La
Bufadora. Visit Ensenada and stay at one of the fine hotels and
resorts or come for a day of shopping and excitement. If you are in
need of any medical attention, Ensenada also features some fine

- The bar above Casamar Restaurant. Have a
great calamar steak dinner at Casamar, and finish up with live
entertainment at the bar above.
- In the back of the biblioteca (the library
– prominent Spanish style building right across the street from
the port), a great old bar for a drink.
